Stereolithography (SLA) 3D Printing Service
Stereolithography (SLA) 3D Printing Service is a widely used additive manufacturing technology that creates high-precision parts through a process called photopolymerization, where a laser selectively cures a liquid resin layer by layer to form solid objects. SLA is known for its ability to produce highly detailed and smooth surface finishes, making it ideal for applications requiring intricate details and high-resolution features.
High-Resolution, Accurate Parts without Tooling
SLA 3D printing offers the ability to create precise, high-resolution parts without the need for expensive molds or tooling. The laser-based curing process allows for the production of complex, detailed components with tight tolerances, making it ideal for industries that require accuracy and fine detail. This capability eliminates the costs and delays associated with traditional manufacturing processes, enabling rapid prototyping, quick iterations, and low-volume production of custom parts—all without the need for custom tooling. Whether you need functional prototypes, intricate designs, or low-volume production, SLA ensures high-quality results quickly and efficiently.

Available Finishes for SLA Printed Parts
Matte (Standard)
Supported surfaces will be gently sanded using 220 or 320 grit sandpaper, followed by media blasting to achieve a consistent matte finish.
Natural
Supported surfaces will be lightly sanded with 220 or 320 grit sandpaper to improve surface quality. Please note that sanding scratches may be visible on these surfaces.
Strip and Ship
Supported areas may exhibit small grid-like dots or surface blemishes due to the support removal process.
Quick Clear
Available for Accura ClearVue. Only the supported surfaces are sanded, and parts will still display visible layering. A high-gloss clear coat is applied to enhance the natural clarity of the material.
Custom
Avinyaworks offers a range of additional SLA finishing options, including but not limited to sanding, polishing, painting, post-thermal processing, and plating, to fulfill your specific requirements.
Applications of Stereolithography (SLA) 3D Printing
Benefits of SLA 3D Printing
High Precision and Detail: SLA (Stereolithography) 3D printing is renowned for its exceptional accuracy and ability to create intricate details. The technology uses a laser to cure liquid resin layer by layer, allowing it to produce parts with smooth surfaces and fine features, making it ideal for applications requiring high precision.
Smooth Surface Finish: One of the most significant benefits of SLA printing is its smooth surface finish. Parts produced by SLA typically require minimal post-processing because the process itself results in a highly refined surface, unlike other 3D printing methods that may require additional finishing work.
Versatile Materials: SLA 3D printers can use a wide range of resins, including clear, flexible, rigid, and high-temperature materials. This versatility allows SLA to cater to various industries with specific material requirements, enabling customized solutions for different applications.
